Operation Ivy was an influential ska-punk band that originated from the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. The band existed between May of 1987 and May of 1989.

Energy is their only full album. It has been cited as one of the most important albums of the ska-core genre. In 2006, the album was ranked as the highest rated punk album ever on Sputnikmusic. (wow, didn't know that! got that from wikipedia :p)
